[Issue 126149] New: OpenOffice Calc 4.1.1 Crashes repeatedly and often

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126149

          Issue ID: 126149
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: OpenOffice Calc 4.1.1 Crashes repeatedly and often
           Product: Calc
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows 8
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P5
         Component: editing
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: youngen1011@gmail.com

Hello,
I love OpenOffice but since purchasing my Lenovo Touch Ultrabook with Windows 8
and installing OpenOffice 4.1.1, it crashes repeatedly, every day.

It does recover the files, however often loses the most recent data input.

This is very problematic.

Any solution?

I saw Issue ID 125643 says the same thing but it says UNCOMFIRMED, so not sure
what that means. If you like, you are welcome to login to my system remotely
to see it duplicated.

Thanks for all you do on this wonderful product. I hope this can be fixed!
:-)

You are in wrong place here. This is a bug tracker system and not an helpdesk.

AOO works fine with Windows systems.
It sounds like a bad installation.
