Publication Search: Instructions with many enhancements

I posted instructions for Publication Search at:
http://solprovider.com/solprovider/lenya.nsf/Home?readform&pg=search

It includes:
1. Instructions for indexing on Windows.
2. Limit initial search to current language, and filter on chosen languages.
3. Filter out Member's Only/Restricted/Protected/ClosedUserGroup areas
from the results.
This removes restricted documents from search results if the visitor
is not in one of the specified Groups.

The big change is indexing the live XML files.
- The standard method crawls the site, putting the results into the
"htdocs_dump" directory. The index is built from there. That index
will not include documents not accessible from the start page, such as
Members' Only sections. That index would also include navigation
menus.
- Using the XML files indexes all content, whether accessible or not,
and does not index the site architecture. If a visitor searches on
"search", they should receive documents including the word "search",
not every page with the search function (which should be every page in
a well-designed website). The index still includes everything in a
document including header information such as author.

Would someone, preferably new to Lenya, test these instructions? Best
would be a clean installation, publish all the documents in the
"Default" publication (since this only indexes the "live" area), then
follow these instructions. Send me notes about anything confusing or
if there were difficulties.
