STATUS is looking pretty clean, and unless anybody objects, I'm planning
to roll RC1 tomorrow morning (03-28-2008 @ 1500 UTC).

Especially as we accumulate more experts all the time :-).

I added the URL to the corresponding thread in the dev-email list archive
right now:
http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=136485

Hopefully the later abort of svn co/up can be integrated without too much
afford for experts.

I think we have to draw the line somewhere -- we do want 1.5 to ship,
after all :-). This enhancement can come out in a later release. I
agree it is a totally reasonable enhancement.

By the way, could you update issue #3148 to point to the mailing list
archive url for the original thread? Right now the issue quotes Mike
Pilato, but does not actually point to the message/thread.

Hi,
is there a chance to get issue 3148
( http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3148 ) solved for final
1.5?

I understood the comment of C. Michael Pilato, as if this would be a
reasonable change/fix/enhancement, and that this shouldn't be too complex.

This would make lists of "svn:externals" better useable, when a subset of
the "svn:externals" is not available/accessible (i.e. retrieve all other
accessible svn:externals resources and simply report the failed ones at the
end).

Okee-dokee. I'll send something out tomorrow.

There are a couple of items in STATUS now. Other than that, there is
just the proposed change to the mergeinfo command line output. I
think we have reached consensus on the UI change, and decided on the
minor formatting changes, rather than the bigger "make it look like
svn log" proposals. Once cmpilato wraps it up, commits it and
proposes it for backport we should be able to roll RC1 when the STATUS
file is clean. Probably by Friday I would guess.

So it might be worth putting out another call to make sure everything
has been proposed and voted on prior to then.

I think we're close to agreement, but there is still the question of
whether to show revision ranges or individual revisions. This is
orthogonal to the "show logs" question -- or rather, it only applies
when we already know we're not showing logs.

I've reposted in the main thread about this, to try to get this
resolved. As far as I know, yes, this is the only question left.

I did not sense any real disagreement from people. It seemed like
everyone was basically proposing the same thing. It might be easier
to reach consensus if we can see what you have implemented, or if you
can just implement something specific that we can comment on.

That sounds reasonable. I'll wait until those issues are resolved, and
then ping the list again.

I'm testing the mod_dav_svn bugfix (turns out this is a server-side problem,
not client-side) now. I'll move from there directly to the mergeinfo API stuff.

That sounds like an objection :-)

Any ideas on the ETA of any of those? (compat-code bugfix, API
changes? I presume you can't comment on the UI conversation.)

Has the 'svn mergeinfo' UI conversation come to closure yet? The API
changes there are still in progress on a branch.

Also, there's a Neon compat-code bugfix I'm still looking at.
