Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MAVEN-993
Summary: latka:jmeter-convert doesn't complain if specified file isn't found
       Type: Bug

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Minor

 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: maven
 Components:
             plugin-latka

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Daniel Rabe

    Created: Fri, 31 Oct 2003 3:51 PM
    Updated: Fri, 31 Oct 2003 3:51 PM
Environment: Windows XP

Description:
Invoke latka:jmeter-convert to convert a jmeter file, but mistype the file name, e.g.:

maven -DjmeterFile=c:\missingfile.jmx latka:jmeter-convert

There are no error messages, just the "BUILD SUCCESSFUL" at the end. I think you should get an error message if it can't open the file you told it to convert.
