SearchBlox Content Search Software Version 4.0 released

SearchBlox Software has released Version 4.0 of its Content Search Software.
 
SearchBlox uses the Lucene Search API and delivers out-of-the-box search
functionality for quick and easy integration with websites, intranets and
portals. SearchBlox incorporates integrated HTTP/HTTPS, File System and Feed
crawlers, support for various document formats including HTML, Word, PDF,
PowerPoint and Excel, support for indexing and searching content in 37
languages and customizable search results, all controlled from a
browser-based Admin Console. SearchBlox also provides a REST-API for
integration with custom search applications.

New features in Version 4.0: 
=============================
- AJAX-based Admin Console
- Replication (ENTERPRISE Edition Only) - keeps search indexes in multiple
instances of SearchBlox synchronized. No special network configurations are
required as all communications and data downloads between the SearchBlox
instances are over HTTP   
- Hit highlighting of search terms in HTML and PDF documents

SearchBlox is platform-independent. It is available as a Web Archive (WAR)
and has been tested with all major Java Application Servers.  It is also
available as standalone servers for Windows, Linux/Unix and Mac OS X
platforms. 

The SearchBlox FREE Edition is available free of charge and can index up to
1000 documents.
