[ANNOUNCE] New PMC member for Apache RocketMQ: Qingshan Lin
Hi Apache RocketMQ Community,
The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache RocketMQ has invited Qingshan
Lin[1][2] (apache id: linhill) to become PMC Member and we are pleased to
announce that he has accepted.
In RocketMQ 5.0, Qingshan innovatively proposed a new POP consumption model
in RIP-19, which enhanced RocketMQ's core competitiveness in the Messaging
field in a more cloud-native way, and laid the foundation for the
subsequent emergence of gRPC proxy .
Qingshan also actively participates in the community and actively promotes
the Apache way. As a release manager, he leads the release of the
5.0.0-alpha version of the community. In addition, with his great work,
three developers including @Yangkun Ai @Lin Shen @chenzlalvin quickly
familiar with the apache way and became committers.
In addition, in the first Apache RocketMQ Summit, Qingshan, as one of the
organizers, attracted nearly 40 speakers from more than 20 companies to
share, and the entire Summit was viewed by more than 190,000 people, with
over 1 million total views. Greatly enhanced the influence of RocketMQ and
attracted more developers into the community. Additionally, He also did
several public presentations to advocate Apache RocketMQ and Apache way.
