I noticed the compaction was on this single file in
qproxy_request_info2,\x00\x00\x01_\x00\xC8\x01g\xA26,1415980522820.
fc5207e028a3f5e549bf79c089561793.
Can you examine this file using
http://hbase.apache.org/book.html#_hfile_tool ?
BTW 0.96 is really old. Various 1.x releases have been made.
