Producer from String

I would like to give a Reader to Cocoon so that it handles the contained
string directly (without creating a file)
is it possible to do so ??
there is a sample called : CocoonFromServlet but it does not work
because of ProducerFromRequest that does not exist..
thanx for helping
(Cocoon 1.8.2, Tomcat 1.3)
