Schema validation

Hi,

Is anyone actually maintaining the validation stuff? There seem to be
bugs in XMLValidator when, for instance, I try to use schemas from
different namespaces, and surely someone has reported them, but I don't
see where any code has changed for months. We really need this stuff to
work. I would be willing to help where I could.
