Recent versions of the assembly plugin started outputting a harmless, but annoying error message when creating tar.gz files from Windows:

[ERROR] OS=Windows and the assembly descriptor contains a *nix-specific root-relative-reference (starting with slash) /mypath

This used to work fine with older versions.
