--- Comment #1 from Czesław Wolański <cz...@gmail.com> ---
AOO 4.1.11

The quoted text is from the source file:
main/helpcontent2/source/text/swriter/guide/background.xhp

The Help topic corresponding to this file is called
"Defining Background Colors or Background Graphics".
It mentions the Background Color toolbar twice,
in section "To Apply a Background To All or Part of a Table".
(cf. the attached file "Background topic").

_Both_ tips refer to the Background color toolbar on the Table bar.

A background color to a text paragraph within a cell can be applied via:
- the Background color toolbar on the Table bar
- the Background color toolbar on the Formatting bar.
(interestingly, the Background Color toolbar on the Table bar
can also be used to change the background color of paragraph
that is not part of the table)

Another thing is that the extended tip for the Background color
on the Table bar says nothing about applying
a background color to cell(s).

Regarding the reporter's proposal:
it is incorrect because it implies that one can choose color
simply by pressing the Background Color icon.
Pressing the Background Color icon *only* invokes the toolbar.
