New artifact plugin issues with previously deployed snapshot jars

Hi,

It seems that snapshot files deployed with the new artifact plugin don't
overwrite those deployed with the old deploy plugin (xxx-SNAPSHOT symlinks),
can anyone of you check in your repositories if it's an issue?
