[Collections] .obj1 and .obj2 file types

data/test/NullComparator.version2.obj1
data/test/NullComparator.version2.obj2

seem to be versions of .obj files.

it's a bit confusing to create new file types - and it messes up
various settings and tools - so could these be renamed as .obj, but
with a different stem? Or are the different extensions essential?
