James doesn't seem to support SMTP authentication like LOGIN, PLAIN and CRAM-MDS

Hi!
     Is it true that James doesn't support any SMTP authentication like
LOGIN, PLAIN and CRAM-MDS? The SMTP keyword is AUTH. JavaMail API support,
in a old version, LOGIN and PLAIN but not CRAM-MD5.  Does somebody have
planned to add support for that? I know we support SSL authentication but
JavaMail API doesn't support it by default.
