[GitHub] [druid] capistrant opened a new issue #10941: ServerView Initialization restarts from the first dataSource in lexicographic order after failure

capistrant opened a new issue #10941:
URL: https://github.com/apache/druid/issues/10941

When a ServerView initialization during Broker startup fails doing SegmentMetada queries. The Broker will start over again from the first datasource regardless of how far along it was at failure. I haven't had a chance to dig into the code yet, but this seems less than ideal. I'd think that the Broker would be able to know where it was when it runs into a failure and then restart from that point.

I'm hoping to look into this further ASAP but wanted to get an issue out there now.
