DO NOT REPLY [Bug 49519] New: .asc sig files are binary, not ascii
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49519
Summary: .asc sig files are binary, not ascii
Product: Tomcat 7
Version: 7.0.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: Packaging
AssignedTo: dev@tomcat.apache.org
ReportedBy: sebb@apache.org
Something seems to have gone wrong with the signature generation, because the
.asc signature files under [1] are all binary, rather than Ascii-armoured as is
usual.
The sigs that I checked do still work for me as the tool I use (gpg2) does not
seem to care, but it's not obvious that they will work in all cases as the
content-type is wrong.

Thanks. Should be fixed now. Give the mirrors 24 to sync the changes and
re-open if there is still an issue.
