I just overlay with the last Labs Air SDK, you must override the files from
Air SDK, and copy/past airmobile-config.xml from the previous SDK to include
config for mobile projects (include spark components).

Hi,
installer work fine now with Air 15.0.0.302, but the target-player in the
air-config.xml and airmobile-config.xml is 14.0.
It's normal ... ?

Looks like the URL in the log is not actually where it is getting it from, think there a JIRA raised about this.

Can you provide more detail? What is malformed about the URL?

I¹ll look into it, but the installer cherry-picks files from the package
so it probably doesn¹t matter which package it is.

If you are going to manually overlay an AIR SDK, you must use the package
for Flex developers, not the larger package. I will try to update the
installer for 302

but please note we have now 302.
Installer log was showing the last two lines I've already reported.
* just tried to merge latest 302 release, still issues compiling projects,
e.g.: "cannot resolve s:SWFLoader to a component definition ...".
For you to know my current attempt is:
- launch the installer and select all options with 4.13sdk + 15 sdk
- download the air sdk from Adobe labs, there are two versions available
both for osx and win
- use the biggest package, NOT the flash builder flavour
- expand the zipped airSDK
- copy the content into the apache flex folder install, overwriting files,
accomplishing file/folder hierarcy (no further subfolders)
Sometime (depending on what combination flex + adobe labs air) it has
success and work fine with flash builder as custom sdk, more often it
reports "selected folder does not contain valid flex sdk", some other it
lets to select but compilations fail with "component definition" errors.

The list of AIR and Player SDKs in the installer is controlled by a simple
config file. I added the latest betas to the list. Give it a try and let
us know if it works or not.

the installer works, but it downloads the latest release which is older than
two airsdk beta releases, 249 vs 289.
Please note the latest air should resolve iphone simulator issue and some
appStore submission issue related to xcode Apple complaints.
I don't expect flex team will update soon the installer (don't know the
schedule), even imho it would be a good idea, just need some info to address
the need of merging sdks. Afaik there were some past beta release support in
the installer.
