IBM's transcoding product

Hello,

Slightly off topic, but has anyone looked into IBM's transcoder -
http://www.infoworld.com/articles/mt/xml/00/05/29/000529mttrans.xml.

This looks like it does something similar to cocoon/xalan by serving
content
to multiple devices.  It appears to obviate the need for manually authoring
the transformation rules.  Has anyone looked into this?  If so, I'd be very
interested
in hearing your opinions.
