Apache/tomcat config question?

Hi all,

I am currently trying to use URL rewriting for using sessions in our JSP
application. I used the encodeURL method to encode the URL which returns a
;jsessionid-.. appended to my URL. Now, when I click on this I get a page
not found error.

We are using Apache/tomcat as our backend. Wanted to find out, whether I
need to do some specific configuration on Apache/tomcat for URL rewriting to
be recognized? Any help would be appreciated.
