chainsaw v2 question

Will chainsaw v2 allow browsing of files that are on remote systems?  I
don't want the data to actually be sent real-time to chainsaw.

Chainsaw v2 can read an XMLLayout formatted file from a remote location
by using a URL, see the File menu "Load Remote Log4j file".
