[SoC] JSR196 for Tomcat

Dear Developers,

I've submitted a SoC application for this project idea:

However, it has gsoc tag but now gsoc2011. I posted in the ticket but 
got no answer. From the general Apache developers list I was pointed 
here. So I'd like to ask if this project idea is still desired? If so, 
is there someone, who could be a possible mentor? Could you please also 
review my application?
