Some osgi literature

Hi guys,

i've been working with osgi for some time now, but all info i took
from forums, google etc and i have feeling i'm still missing some real
osgi knowledge, best practicies - things that are contained in
literature (i believe). And off course i have no intention to pay 39
euros or so for some ebook i have no references about. Do someone have
something i might "enjoy". Thanks in advance. My mail is kamil.szabo
at google mail.com.

Yeah, also the specifications (core+compendium) are highly recommended and
quite readable. (book like).

Once you feel it might be of interest for you (can never be wrong), think
about dropping some bucks on http://www.manning.com/hall/ (eap currently).
First chapter is free anyway.

cheers, Toni

Hi Kamil,

You can have a look at Neil Bartlett's tutorials on EclipseZone, you
can find them here:
http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t90365.html
http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t90544.html
http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t90796.html
http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t97690.rhtml

Neil has also written an OSGi book, but it seems to have disappeared
from the internet.

The Aries Website also contains some tutorials:
http://incubator.apache.org/aries/
And obviously the Felix documentation is a good place to start too:
http://felix.apache.org/site/documentation.html

Finally, the OSGi Alliance website also contains some useful links:
http://www.osgi.org/Links/HomePage

Hope this helps,

David
