Validation & javascript...

Hi all,

I'm curious to know what everyone is doing with the
validation javascript code...it seems like we lose
bandwidth by sending the same javascript routines from
validator-rules.xml for each page that uses
validation. 

It would be nice to be able to have the routines in
javascript file(s) so they could be downloaded once.
That would seem to break the model by pulling the code
out of the validator-rules.xml, though.

Does anyone have any good ideas?
