Extracting 3thd party repackaged bundles in their own tree

I'd like to move all bundles in their own tree under smx4/bundles/
instead of having them split accross smx4/kernel/bundles,
smx4/nmr/bundles, smx4/features/camel/bundles,
smx4/features/cxf/bundles etc...
If think this makes sense for two reasons:
  * much easier to find what's available
  * they are usually released only once, so i don't see why we should
release then more often
If no one objects, I'll do that early next week.

You'll find some pointers at http://servicemix.apache.org/contributing.html
In short, it mainly involves submitting patches and earn merit. At
some point, the community may decide to offer you commit priviledges.

Road map towards commit privileges in ServiceMix?

I have been using ServiceMix 3.2.1 quite a bit. But overall I am new to
JBI. I would like to contribute as a developer but need a bit of a
roadmap towards commit privileges.

Opps, forgot to mention the location:
   https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/smx4/bundles/trunk

There is a convenience pom at the root, but it sounded a bit
overweight to have each bundle in its own trunk/branches/tags
structure, as I expect most of these bundles to be released only once.

I've just create a new svn tree that holds all the OSGi bundles used
throughout servicemix 4.
I've changed a bit the naming scheme for these repackaged jars.
  groupId = org.apache.servicemix.bundles
  artifactId = org.apache.servicemix.bundles.[orginal artifact]
  version = [original version]_1-SNAPSHOT

I will update the kernel, nmr and features project to use those asap.
