Getting this thing started....
Hi,
I am currently trying to (at the very least) implement a simple XSLT
Extension... to look like this...
<sql:query connection="someDSN" table="Customers" select="SELECT * FROM
CUSTOMERS WHERE ID = 3" />
I understand that Xalan C++ does not yet support this, and I understand that
as a group you would rather put your priorities somewhere else. Like David
told me that we (as a group) should focus on getting XPath extensions
working, and I agree. But in the mean time if I cannot at the very least get
a "simple" extension going, I will have to concentrate my efforts somewhere
else, and I would hate to see this happen. I have discussed the situtation
with the high power here, and they agree that once I get my extension going,
I could spend 30% of my time helping this group....
So, Is there someone in this group who could just answer a few (probably
very stupid questions) about the code, just to get me going. Please!!!!
Like... how do I get a reference to the XSLTProcessor that I am running in?
Or how do I my node name and the attributes?
Anyway... I am also looking at the speed issue... seems like the DOMString
is pretty heavy, anyone could comment on that.
Best regards
