Summary: ProxyPassReverse does not rewrite the protocol part
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.0.54
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: mod_proxy
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: rmiranda@solar.com.br

I'm using an Apache front-end w/ SSL enabled to my internal servers. However,
when using the option "ProxyPreserveHost on", the protocol part of the response
headers is not rewritten with ProxyPassReverse.

Without the ProxyPreserveHost option, the response headers are correctly
rewritten by mod_proxy.

Thanks

------- Additional Comments From rpluem@apache.org 2006-05-12 15:04 -------
httpd 2.0.58 has serveral proxy code fixes. Some of them are security fixes that
are especially important for reverse proxies (CVE-2005-2088). Please check if
the problem is still there with httpd 2.0.58. Do not try to use httpd 2.0.55 as
this has a regression (#37145) which causes reverse proxies not to work with ssl.
