# 1. Preface #

19:07:14 [Kxepal]: ASFBot: meeting start

# 2. teh merge #

19:07:59 [Kxepal]: rnewson, your word about (:
19:09:28 [rnewson]: Ah.
19:10:00 [rnewson]: I've started a vote thread to get the work into
our repo. in a few days, assuming no vetoes, we'll being IP clearance
and then pull the work in.
19:10:20 [rnewson]: I encourage +1's but unless you have an objection
they're quite optional.
Kxepal: http://www.mail-archive.com/dev@couchdb.apache.org/msg25522.html
19:12:29 [Kxepal]: rnewson: that's great work!
19:12:49 [rnewson]: thanks, most of the work was davisp's.
19:14:52 [Kxepal]: you both done much! what will be needed to get it
into master branch?
19:18:42 [Kxepal]: ok, will not force the events, first vote for it (:
Kxepal: everyone vote at bigcouch merge tread or/and leave your
thoughts about there
19:21:27 [Kxepal]: ok, let's move on

# 3. git discussion #

19:24:34 [Kxepal]: there was a thread on ml about git workflow:
http://www.mail-archive.com/dev@couchdb.apache.org/msg25374.html
19:25:19 [Kxepal]: I suppose we need summarize ideas and resolutions
from it in form of some guide in wiki. anyone git-familiar could
handle this?
19:27:37 [rnewson]: I don't believe we reached consensus on that topic yet.
19:30:04 [Kxepal]: ah, I see...recently I'd read a bit about
rebase-vs-merge and there wasn't everything trivial and clear
19:31:49 [Kxepal]: anyway, I think intermediate summary may help to
split things that are clear from opened issues
19:32:06 [rnewson]: I think we got close until the suggestion to use
gitflow with its separate 'release' branch came up.
19:32:20 [rnewson]: but this meeting is just a status thing, we're not
going to resolve that topic here.
19:33:21 [Kxepal]: right..ok, than moving on

# 4. docs status #

19:36:19 [Kxepal]: I had not much done for docs for the last weeks,
hope to handle things soon and push changes into separate branch for
reviewing
19:37:57 [Kxepal]: ok, looks like May holidays in full swing. let's
end if nobody else has nothing to say.
