Branch aw080

	Hi List,

due to the increasing number of requests concerning the aw080 branch I 
started to write some documentation and have put it here:

Short overview: It's a branch I'm working on for some time which will 
cleanup, simplify and make better functional basic parts of the 
DrawingLayer component. More to be read under the link.
