Issue with rendering Incident Progression dendor

Folks,

There is a browser rendering issue with the dendro in seemingly every
browser but Chrome. (Firefox, Edge, IE).

A ForeignObject is being used to render text labels associated with the
tree. This only seems to work in Chrome. Since d3 supports Text elements to
be associated with circles, wouldn't this have been an easier / more
compatible way across browsers? It'd be great if someone with the
background context expands on this...
