#stop in conditions is not working

           Summary: #stop in conditions is not working
           Product: Velocity
           Version: 1.4
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Critical
          Priority: Other
         Component: Source
        AssignedTo: velocity-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: Martin.Novak@sh.cvut.cz

Hello, I think, that this should work, but velocity throws parse error.

#if(1 == 1)
  #stop
#end

I think, that the problem is in #stop statement, that velocity doesn't recognize it.
