   I'm still able to readily reproduce this. The crash can readily happen on Samsung Galaxy Active 2 tablet on Android 8.1.  It seems the only work around is disabling Autofill in android Settings.

   I'm using Cordova 9.0.0 (cordova-lib 9.0.1) on Android platform 8.0.0.
   
   Any way to resolve this without asking users to alter their device settings?  I've seen hacks that don't seem to work, and I haven't seen any workarounds within Cordova.
