[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-5485) UK mirror
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-5485?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13490353#comment-13490353 ]
Sebb commented on INFRA-5485:
-----------------------------
Thanks for the offer of support, however there are some issues with the mirror.
Please look (again) at our 'how-to-mirror' page :
http://www.apache.org/info/how-to-mirror.html
in particular
http://www.apache.org/info/how-to-mirror.html#Configuration
1) Compare
http://apache.favoritelinks.net/harmony/
with
http://www.apache.org/dist/harmony/
and notice that your mirror does not generate a redirect.
The most common cause for this is omitting the following option:
AllowOverride FileInfo
2) The file http://apache.favoritelinks.net/zzz/README has the content-type application/octet-stream.
However, it is a text file.
The most likely cause is overriding the DefaultType; it is best to omit this.
