2.6.0 breakage

Hi guys!

I was planning to release 2.6.0 today, but unfortunately we cannot,  
as we have a serious breakage in the unit tests.  I cannot stress  
enough the fact that before you commit any code, you should always,  
always run the unit tests.

I haven't investigated this break yet, since it's very late at night  
over here...  Maybe over the weekend.
