unzipping the xalan.zip file

I downloaded the xalan zip file (xalan-j_1_2_D02.zip) but can't get it
unzip correctly.
WinZip creates all the files and directory structure but all the files
created are empty.
Anyone can tell me how to unzip them correctly?
