[jira] [Commented] (CONNECTORS-674) Send metadata to Solr using multipart request

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CONNECTORS-674?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13650756#comment-13650756 ]

Karl Wright commented on CONNECTORS-674:
----------------------------------------

SOLR-4358 has indeed been included in the Solr 4.3 release. By strange chance, we need to respin the MCF 1.2 release too. I'll update the branch to use the right version of SolrJ - and if that passes all tests, we'll include it.

> In Solrj 4.3, setUserMultipartRequest is exposed. Rather then encoding the metadata in the URL string, we should send it in the request body
