help about fo:table-header

Hello,
I asked yesterday some help in order to build with FOP a pdf document
from a FO document which may contain a large table and I wished
differentiate the header of the first page containing the table from the
header of the next pages.

I tried to use unfortunately the notion of dynamic fo:headers.

Another way is to not print a header on the first page which contains
the beginning of the table and to only print this header on the next
pages.

How can I do this!

Sorry for my poor English
Thank you

Well, there are a few things which can cause me ranting away
from time to time ("you" isn't specifically you in the following
text but more generically meant):
- Keeping wondering about something which doesn't work after
being told it wont work, ever.
This specifically applies to syntax errors in well documented
   languages, like XSLFO.
- Describing a failed approach at solving a problem rather then
   the problem itself.
- Obviously approaching the problem by copycatting whatever
random code was found on the net and a lot of guesswork.
Just guessing how things should work will get you stuck. Invest
in building a more solid base by working through a good book
   or taking classes instead.
- Adding excuses about lack of english language skills. After all,
if your english is really that poor, it will be pretty obvious
   to everyone.
Invest in getting help for formulating the message instead.
- Prepending statements about your newbiness, or lack of skills
in a certain technology or whatever. This will be pretty obvious
   to anyone more advanced anyway.
- Prepending an excuse like "Sorry this has been probably asked
often...". Chances are you are right.
Invest in searching the FAQ and the list archives instead.
- Prepending excuses like "I'm not sure whether this is the right
place to ask...". If you feel the need to do so, the selected
list is almost certainly not the best place to ask.
Bluntly asking "what is the best place to ask on advice for the
following problem..." is less insulting. Better yet, invest more
time to find the right place to ask before posting.

For the benefit of non-francophones, the above French means:

Yes, it's very simple. It's enough to say, politely:
"Sir, please have the kindness to send this type of message to the FOP
users list, because we are simple developers and do not know how our
product works."

Jean-Francois,

Although Joerg's original reply was perhaps a bit harsh, please do not
say "Ok thanks a lot for your answer" when clearly you do not mean it.
Glen's point is simply that this list is already overwhelmed with mails
about FOP development. The fop-user list exists to handle questions
from users of FOP; and many of the FOP developers also subscribe to that
list. If the questions from FOP users do not go to that list, it
becomes useless. At that point, those users who are interested in
questions and replies from other users must subscribe to the developers'
list, where there is all sorts of discussion that they do not understand
or care about. So, the list is simply asking you to respect the scopes
of the mailing lists and ask your question in a more appropriate forum.
They are not singling you out: often users ask questions in the
development list, and are politely redirected to the fop-user list.

    Thanks,

    Eric

fonctionne notre produit"

Cordialement....
Ok thanhs a lot for your answer
