Re: [EXTERNAL] New contributer- Aniruddh
Dear Aniruddh,
Welcome! The Open Climate Workbench includes a Python open-source library for common climate model evaluation tasks as well as a set of user-friendly interfaces for quickly configuring a model evaluation task. OCW also allows users to build their own climate data analysis tools, such as the statistical downscaling toolkit.
I suggest reviewing this page, https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CLIMATE/Developer+Getting+Started+Guide and this paper, https://www.geosci-model-dev.net/11/4435/2018/
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thanks,
Kyo

Hello Apache open climate workbench team,
Hope you all are well.
I am Aniruddh Goteti originally from India but presently working as a Data
Scientist in Germany. I am a python developer and enthusiast and would love
to contribute to the codebase. I have read the developer documentation and
was looking at the issues in Jira but most of them are assigned for.
It would be really helpful if someone could mentor me with the codebase and
assign me an issue or a beginners patch to start with.
Have a nice day you All!
Cheers,
Aniruddh
