Tiles-2.2.2 release?

Is there any timeframe for the 2.2.2 release?
Is there a shortlist of must-have fixes? anything to help make it
happen?

Of course. I'm subscribed now.
(I've also subscribed it too to gmane.org)

BTW, that was not meant to imply that you posted this to the wrong
place, only that if you subscribe to dev we can have a more detailed
conversation about development.

Hi, are you subscribed to the dev@tiles.apache.org list? If not,
please do so. Dev is where discussions about development are supposed
to take place. If you subscribe there we can start a conversation
about what's left to do for the next release and how you can be part
of it.

Thanks,
Greg

No, I will take care of it myself ;-)

Thanks

Thanks for publishing it.
But going down this path we'll need our own "timestamped" snapshot. We
don't want to depend on snapshots especially from external repos.

No answer on waivering TILES-503 and Velocity-Tools-2.0-beta4 until
2.2.3?

Snapshot published. Have fun :-)

If it's only a question of a snapshot in our snapshot repository, I
can publish it this evening (CET). I can't do it now, I cannot access
to ssh from my workplace.
Anyway the snapshot repository is:
http://people.apache.org/repo/m2-snapshot-repository/

How many of these are real blockers? For example which are regressions?
Otherwise i'll try and fix a few., but TILES-503 is a big one it looks
like, and if it's not a regression i can't see it holding back a release
that already contains other good fixes.

Ouch. Albeit beta-4. Are there any known problems affecting Tiles? Can
an immediate 2.2.2 release still go ahead with this listed under "known
bugs"? For my part i have no qualms as this is a optional component to
Tiles.

We scratch our own itch, that's fine by me.
If we can waiver TILES-503 and Velocity-Tools-2.0-beta4 then i'm
definitely eager to help on those other issues.
Otherwise we'll have to make our own timestamp version of 2.2.2-SNAPSHOT
(as it just fine for us as-is).

Like all the Apache project there is no timeframe.

Sure:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&mode=hide&sorter/order=DESC&sorter/field=priority&resolution=-1&pid=12311046&fixfor=12314702

If you post patches to these bugs, I will surely apply them. If you
post JUnit test cases to those bugs, the release will be done ASAP.
Moreover there is a bigger hurdle: the release of Velocity Tools 2.0.
This version is still in beta, and until this version comes out, I
doubt Tiles will become GA.

I must admit that I'm starting being bored by the fact that I am the
only active developer here, and currently there is only one
contributor (you :-) ) that helps me a bit.
I am currently having fun in the sandbox, preparing the future Tiles 3.
If someone provides patches I will be more than happy to apply them.
If no one helps me, you can wait for 2.2.2 until the heat death of the
universe.

Sorry
