[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-9308) Apache github.com displaying unrelease code as released

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-9308?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14373052#comment-14373052 ]

Patrick Hunt commented on INFRA-9308:
-------------------------------------

My personal preference would be to turn off the releases page on github.com, at least for ZooKeeper. People can go to our website if they want to learn about releases (including additional context about the release itself).

> Key: INFRA-9308

> Unreleased code is advertised as released code on github.com. This is under the Apache organization, as a result users are confused as to what constitutes Apache released software.
> See this as an example:
> Notice that this seems to be pulling up svn tags as "releases". Release candidates are being pulled into this.
