[jira] [Commented] (WHIMSY-372) Allow PMC members to see mail subscriptions to their private list

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIMSY-372?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17429498#comment-17429498 ]

Greg Stein commented on WHIMSY-372:
-----------------------------------

I have moved this to WHIMSY.

Infrastructure does not display the list of users through its various interfaces, so this is not relevant. If a PMC member asks us for a list, then we'd retrieve it from ezmlm and provide the list. ie. Infra would perform the access control.

> The roster of subscribers to private@ mail lists appears to be limited to Apache Members.
> Any PMC member should be able to see the roster of subscribers to their own PMC private list.
> In particular, the PMC chair should be able to see the subscribers in order to make sure that all PMC members are subscribed and no non-PMC members are subscribed.
> Recently, I asked a PMC chair to review the subscriber list and they could not because they could not see who was subscribed.
