Currently there is support for custom host as per the changes in https://github.com/apache/mesos/commit/9d8829182e2b40bafc9aaa58e96ff3ac637d0b2c
But why is it restricted only to local unix domain sockets?
(There is a check in src/docker/docker.cpp to throw error if socket path doesnt start with '/')
