> In RegexSerDe's serialize method, a MissingFormatArgumentException is caught when formatting the output string, and a there are not enough arguments.  However, it does not handle the case where the format string contains invalid format string syntax (e.g. %y) or has mismatching types.  The attached patch provides a clean error message for this exception.
