It will be a little painful to sync the line numbers with reST (you can somewhat avoid this by using the options of the directive) but that way the code will reflect what is actually in the example and will get formatted properly.
   
   @lidavidm I added the code refereces as you suggested. It is neater. And in addition I also added the sub-example for each operation. It would be easier for the reader. And users can use the full `.cc` and read more.
