native2ascii conversion with Maven 3

Hi,

What's the recommended method for doing native2ascii conversion with Maven 3?
Should i use the native2ascii plugin (http://mojo.codehaus.org/native2ascii-maven-plugin/), the Antrun plugin (http://docs.codehaus.org/display/MAVENUSER/Maven+and+native2ascii) or something else entirely?

The plugin looks fine... it could probably do with some love to make
it more aligned with the "Maven Way" but it looks to not be too far
off the path
