[users@httpd] mod_proxy and buffering

Is there any way to make mod_proxy to NOT buffer the output before sending
it to a client when using it as a reverse proxy?

I have som java servlets that needs unbuffered output, but everything gets
buffered and sent to the client when the servlet closes the connection.
