ACS 4.5.1, snapshot is stuck in "BackingUp" state

Hi,

I am running ACS 4.5.1, with two management servers. I was replacing expiring certificate with new one, for which I had to restart management services. But there was one recurring snapshot running, which is now stuck at "BackingUp" state. I want to delete it but I can't because of its status.

Its hourly recurring snapshot. Normally, it deletes oldest one to create new snapshot. But since, this one is stuck at "BackingUp" state, recurring snapshot is stopped. I got mail alert with this,

"Snapshot resource limit exceeded for account id : 11. Failed to create recurring snapshots; please use updateResourceLimit to increase the limit"

I understand that, if I change in DB state of this snapshot to "BackedUp" then I might be able to delete it successfully. But I am wondering exactly in which tables to make changes? Correct me if I am wrong.

Hi,

You can have a look in the snapshot table under the status column in the DB
Also based on the resource error you got , I would also check the resource limits for the account creating the snapshots.

Glenn
