Changes in BindingImpl getting lost upon regeneration

Hello!
 
When I generate the server-side skeleton file of my web service using
WSDL2Java the generated BindingImpl class contains methods stubs only. I
have to paste in methods and attributs from my web service
implementation to fill the BindingImpl class with functionalty. I have
to redo this everytime I regenerate the server-side skeleton classes
since my filled into the BindingImpl gets overwritten.
 
Is there a way round having to paste in attributes and methods into the
BindingImpl class every time I regenerate the skeletons using WSDL2Java?
At the moment I make the BindingImpl a subclass of my own Impl class and
remove all methods from it so that the inherited ones are called. I
wonder whether there is a smarter solution than this. Maybe the Axis
people have thought of this and provided some hook?
