Right now, to know the status of iotdb, one needs to run nodetool or connect to db process via JConsole. It's inconvenient to integrate the iotdb monitor to existed monitor system such as Prometheus.
So I suggest if IoTDB could expose the IoTDB metrics/status via some http rest API with the open metric format, so that it could be integrate into the Prometheus compatible monitor systems more easily.
