   each table is meant for different purposes. it actually makes devs life easier so that they don't need to explicitly specify what type of query they are interested in. There could be use-cases just with RT tables, where some users may need real time, but some may need faster query results. 
   
   May be, can you send an email to dev mailing list. we can see what others think about it. if many folks in the community feels we can unify, we can think about it
