How to mkdir and move files as part of build
Before the build takes place, I need to create a directory /target/<somedir>
and then copy some files from /src/main/resources/* to there.
How do I do this with maven?
thanks

Well, as you might have seen if you just clicked on the link I provided, I
only copied then pasted the very sentence you were answering to... So if you
really googled, I don't understand why you didn't find anything.
And about your question for "modicum", I'm no native speaker, and I didn't
know the word modicum either yesterday. So I used google translate, then
reverso.net and found it means "minimum". Imo, this is typically the kind of
question you could have not sent to the list by doing a bit of research by
yourself before sending...
Cheers.

So long as "CheapLisa" continues sending emails like this without
doing even a modicum of her own reading/research, I think she's going
to have to accept an increasingly less than polite tone in the

This list is pretty tolerant and largely flame-free, but we respond
much better to people who have done their homework (and Googling)
before asking questions that are very clearly answered with 5 minutes
of self-help before asking someone in the community to do their
work/searching for them...

Not knowing what you are attempting to do (because you were too busy
flame-baiting to bother to tell us) and dreading up zombie threads - I
assume you actually clicked on the links in this thread?
e.g. http://tinyurl.com/62f6ku
I'm assuming you want to "mkdir" and "move files" as part of the build.
Which the ant plugin will do for you.
Otherwise, please have a look at the freely available books at
http://maven.apache.org/articles.html they might help you with your
problems too.

I Googled this, and came to this forum, only to find a remark telling me I
should have Googled this.
Always annoying to find this remark.
Hope you enjoyed your Friday.
